Decorative acoustic solutions: Sedus mooia

Sedus mooia is a ground-breaking concept which opens up a whole new world of possibilities when it comes to interior design. This product, which offers a combination of first-class soundproofing and aesthetics, is now available worldwide exclusively from Sedus.

Whether as a decorative image on a wall, a ceiling sail or a free-standing partition, “mooia” is both aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and acoustically pleasing to the ears. With its integrated and invisible sound absorbers, it offers an effective solution to acoustic problems. Around 90% of those who move into modern buildings, complain about acoustic problems caused by “contemporary” and sound-reflecting materials such as glass, marble and concrete. A wealth of solutions are available for improving the acoustics in such rooms, yet many of these come at a high financial price due to complicated and additional installations. Sedus mooia not only allows acoustic deficiencies to be remedied relatively cheaply but also brightens up the office at the same time. Any format up to five metres can be produced either in one of seven single-coloured fabrics or as a printed design of your choice to create a truly striking impression. Customers can choose from several thousand images in an Internet database. Alternatively, customer photos, corporate logos or defined solid colours are also possible.

The “mooia” system is as aesthetically pleasing as it is simple and robust. The sound-absorbing interior is framed by an extremely lightweight aluminium construction which is covered with a printed textile skin on the front and back.The result – elegant wall images or partitions which, for example, enable a variety of different room layouts to be created. The defined standard dimensions correspond with the heights of the Sedus storage unit range.
